On the high hill in the green of chestnuts trees (near Independence Square) we see International Palace of Arts (now called Culture Center of the City of Kyiv), formerly the Boarding-school for Young Ladies of Noble built by architect Vikenty Berettii in 1839-42 in the style of Neoclassicism.
